Peskov called situation around “beautiful life of Tsepovyaz” in colony outrageous
According to the press secretary of the President, there can be no second point of view in this situation.
The Kremlin commented on the situation around the “beautiful life” in the colony of Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, who was sentenced to 20 years for massacres in Kuschyovskaya.
According to the press secretary of the Head of state, Dmitry Peskov, the situation is “disgusting and outrageous.”
“This is an outrageous situation. There can be no second point of view. As far as we know, the Federal Penitentiary Service is aware of this story and is taking the necessary measures to prevent similar situations in the future,” Peskov told journalists.
As The CrimeRussia wrote earlier, the scandal over the conditions of Tsepovyaz’s confinement in the Amur correctional colony erupted after the publication of his photos with crabs and red caviar, as well as a mobile phone in the media. After that, the prosecutor's office of the Amur region arrived in the colony for a check, and a criminal case of abuse of authority was opened.
Tsepovyaz himself was placed in the punitive confinement for violating the daily routine; according to lawyer Roman Bokov, he was transferred to a regular cell after three days. The defense of the convict claims that there is a “clear photomontage” in the pictures.
