According to BFM, dozens of people showered stones on police and at the shop windows located on the Champs-Élysées.

2018 World Cup took place in 11 Russian cities from 14 June to 15 July 2018. France and Croatia qualified for the final that was held in Moscow at the Luzhniki stadium. France beat Croatia 4-2 in the World Cup final.
