Owner of car spotted at place of policeman shooting turns out to be not involved in crime

In the Tula region, three unknown people have attacked a young officer of the MIA Police Patrol and Checkpoint Service.

The police have tracked down the owner of VAZ, which was spotted at the place where a MIA Police Patrol and Checkpoint Service officer, Nikolay Skachkov, was shot. The driver of the car was taking his friend to fishing and is not involved in the crime, REN TV reports. Previously, the police reported that a VAZ and a silver Mitsubishi Lancer were spotted at the place of the accident.

In the district of Kosaya Gora on May 24, three unknowns approached Skachkov and, after a short conversation, took away his service weapon and shot him in the chest and leg. According to preliminary data, the criminals looked Caucasian. Skachkova underwent a surgery. His current condition is grave, but stable.
