One of wounded in Penza fight with Romani dies

The police transferred the case file to the Investigative Committee.

In Penza, a resident of the village of Chemodanovka, born in 1985, died. The victim suffered a traumatic brain injury in a mass brawl between the villagers and local Romani people. Another person ended up in intensive care. The police handed over materials regarding the fight to the regional directorate of the Investigative Committee, the PenzaNews reports.

In total, five people were injured as a result of the fight, which broke out on domestic ground. The villagers demand to evict the Romani and blocked the M5 “Ural” highway, having heard about the possible arrival of the Romani from other regions. The police put up checkpoints on the roads and check cars driving towards the village.
