OMON special police hit detainee’s head on a pole during rally in support of Golunov
Almost a thousand people attend the rally in support of journalist Ivan Golunov in Moscow.
On June 12, an unsanctioned rally in support of Meduza journalist Ivan Golunov, whom the police accused of selling drugs, has taken place in Moscow. People oppose fabricated cases.
The number of detainees is more than 200 people, including minors.
Witnesses managed to record some of the most brutal detentions. In the video, the police hit a young man with his head on a poll. The crowd shouts: “Help! They're hurting him!”
Policemen chased a girl across the square at the monument to Vysotsky. “Stop, you *****,” one of the police officers shouts. Eventually, they catch the girl by the roadway.
During the rally, the police applied batons and choking techniques to people.

The cadets have been found guilty of an Attempt at Murder by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert and for Mercenary Reasons (part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Russian Criminal Code). They do not plead guilty.
