In St. Petersburg, officials from the property control committee seized all goods from illegal dealers in Apraksin dvor. Sellers tried to repel bags of clothes and equipment, but riot police seized the illegal goods, reports Moika 78.
Apraksin Dvor has the status of an object of cultural heritage of regional importance. Illegal retail outlets constantly appear on its territory, where migrants work without proper documents. Previously, illegal immigrants were detained the police, and retail outlets were closed, but they soon were re-opened. On May 5, the Property Control Committee received the right to confiscate illegally traded goods. On May 24, officials seized tens of thousands of items.
The cadets have been found guilty of an Attempt at Murder by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert and for Mercenary Reasons (part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Russian Criminal Code). They do not plead guilty.
