Marina Chekunova has scolded the staff of a hospital, in which, according to the local residents, there is no modern medical equipment, for its insufficiently tidy appearance.

Acting Deputy Governor of the Vladimir region Marina Chekunova has reprimanded the doctors of an emergency hospital for untidiness and advised that they should “wash the floors” and “put some curtains up.” This is reported by 33 Guberniya.

The official has scolded the hospital staff, in which, according to the local residents, there is no modern medical equipment, for its insufficiently tidy appearance.

“We’ll review the problems, but look at yourself. Put some curtains up, wash the floors, where are your boot mitts?” Chekunova reprimanded the hospital's stuff.

“Many things and figures in statistics depend on us, on the work of the registry. Your sill plates are dirty. Your reception desk is protected by bars. Open it. Clean your entrance hall. Change the posters, remove those uncleaned and unwatered flowers. Do it carefully. The hospital begins with a nurse, a doctor. The doctor is a model of a starched white lab coat. It’s not that hard,” the official told hospital workers.

According to Politika Segodnya, Chekunova was indignant that people wanted too much from her. “I feel just like a goldfish that has to cater to their every whim,” the official lamented.

The official’s behavior has already been condemned by the deputies of the local Legislative Assembly.

“She could’ve been little more tactful. In any case, this is unacceptable,” Znak.com cites Deputy Head of the Legislative Assembly Roman Kavinov.

To recall, local residents complained about the emergency condition of the hospital in Strunino during the Q&A live phone-in with Vladimir Putin. After that, Vladimir region officials were instructed to repair the hospital and children's clinic, as well as equip the institutions with modern equipment.
