Novokuznetsk central district administration searched
At the same time, the official reason for the searches was the initiation of a criminal case into the lack of drinking water in the Abagur village.
November 19, Novokuznetsk central district administration was searched by officers of the ICR Investigations Directorate in the Kemerovo region. Head of the district Nikolay Maslov told Vash Gorod about the causes of investigative measures.
According to him, the search was conducted as part of the investigation into the criminal case, which the Investigative Committee had been initiated due to lack of drinking water in the village of Abagur, which is part of Novokuznetsk. In reality, there is water, but it does not meet the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor on chemical composition and hardness. Drinking water is brought to social facilities and schools from water utilities; many residents buy it themselves.
During the events, security forces conducted a seizure of documents relating to Abagur, the head of administration said. At the same time, investigators were looking for drugs, weapons, and extremist literature.
The investigative bodies of Kuzbass has not yet provided any official comment on the searches.
