Nikita Belykh became inspiration for chansonnier
The former Governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh, arrested on suspicion of bribery, has inspired a chanson singer to write a new song.
Songwriter and chanson singer Aleksey Plotnikov has been inspired by the arrest of the former Head of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh and written a song called "They've locked up the Gov'nor." The chanson singer posted a video with the song dedicated to Nikita Belykh on his Youtube channel.
A recurrent theme of the thieves song is a story of how Nikita Belykh was arrested and then placed in a detention center. Songwriter tells he was detained when receiving a bribe and then claimed he had taken the money for the city's needs. "Jail, oh jail, give him a nickname. Nikita the White – sounds good enough," the chorus goes.
Let us recall, as earlier reported by the CrimeRussia, Nikita Belykh was arrested on June 25 in one of Moscow restaurants. He was detained when receiving a bribe, the amount of which was 400 thousand euros. A month later, he was deprived of his post as the Head of the Kirov region. Nikita Belykh is currently in the Lefortovo detention center. Law enforcement officers continue to investigate this criminal case.
