Nemtsov's murder case: lawyers of defendants were attacked
Car of one of the defendants lawyer was gunfired. Case materials were stolen from the car of another defendant.
The car of Zaur Dadaev's lawyer Mark Kaverzin, whose client is accused of killing politician Boris Nemtsov, was gunfired by unknown previous evening. The news agency Moskva quotes the lawyer, the incident occurred last night at his office near the metro station Park Kultury. Unidentified shot from a traumatic weapon and smashed the glass roof of the car.
The defender of another person involved in a high-profile case - Khamzat Bakhaev - Zaurbek Sadahanov also fell victim to criminals. Unknown, breaking the glass of the car, stole his bag. There were materials of the case, court proceedings record, certificate of attorney, as well as Russian and foreign passports. According Sadahanov, it happened near a supermarket on the Krasnaya Presnya street. The lawyer believes that this incident is related to Nemtsov's case, someone is putting pressure on the defense of the accused.
Boris Nemtsov's murder occurred on February 27, 2015 at the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky bridge. As suggested by the investigation, perpetrators were Zaur Dadaev, Anzor and Shadid Gubashevs, Tamerlan Eskerhanov and Khamzat Bahaev. They were charged under articles Murder and Arms Trafficking. All the accused, trial on whom began in October 2016, pleaded not guilty. Customers have not yet been formally established.
