Murder of Nemtsov: investigators hunting the truth
Investigators of the ICR and the FSB intend to find out where the murder weapon is hidden and fill in gaps in the high-profile case.
According to the Rosbalt agency, the FSB and the ICR officers returned to the investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov, which remains unclear. So, the investigation could not establish where is the gun, from which the politician was shot. It also remains unclear who is the customer of the crime. In this regard, investigators allegedly seek additional testimony from convicted murderers, both voluntarily and under pressure.
After the sentence, five convicts were sent to various strict-security colonies. Killer Zaur Dadaev is placed into the settlement of the Irkutsk region; he will serve 20 years in prison. Anzor Gubashev will serve 19 years in a colony in Karelia. Khamzat Bakhayev is doing time in Kirovo-Chepetsk. Shadid Gubashev will serve 16 years in a strict-regime colony in the city of Labytnangi, in the Yamalo-Nenets district. Allegedly this decision was a deterrence to the rest of the convicts.
According to the agency, the convicts complicated their lives after refusal to touch base with investigators using a polygraph. After that, some of them got a year in strict conditions of detention (SUS). This place is worse than penalty cell, for example, they lost the right to walk. Now Ansor Gubashev is doing time in the SUS.
According to the edition, Zaur Dadaev is serving his term in the isolator. The reason was a letter from the regional Prosecutor's Office, which states that after the release Dadaev plans to join the ranks of militants in Syria. So, Dadaev lost his right to be released on parole,
According to sources of the agency, Shadid Gubashev is also subjected to pressure on the part of the colony's employees. Allegedly, the guards regularly prevent him from saying prayers; they do not allow him to communicate with relatives, placing him in the punishment cell. At the same time, the colonies will do good for convicts if they sign a plea deal.
As it became known to the agency, the investigation plans to get answers to the main questions - where the gun from which the politician was killed is hidden, as well as the role of Ruslan Mukhudinov and commander of the Sever battalion Ruslan Geremeev.
Recall, Nemtsov was shot on February 27, 2015, at Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge of the capital. According to the investigation, the criminals conspired in 2014 and agreed to the murder the opposition leader for 15 million rubles ($234.115). Alleged customer Ruslan Mukhudinov was charged in absentia; the investigation was separated. At the moment, the accused is put on the international wanted list.
