Moscow Times refutes information about participation of their employee in shooting near Novie Cheryomushki metro station
In the south-west of Moscow, an unknown person opened fire, which resulted in the death of two people: the shooter himself and a passer-by.
The Moscow Times publication reported that none of their employees participated in the shooting near the Novie Cheryomushki metro station. Apparently, the ID of the publication’s employee in the name of Vagif Gumbatov was fake.
The identity of the man who opened fire, after which he committed suicide, is also established – Rasul Abdullaev.
Earlier it transpired that in the south-west of Moscow an unknown person opened fire near the Novye Cheryomushki metro station, as a result of which two people died: the shooter himself and a passer-by.
“At the entrance to the Novie Cheryomushki metro station two bodies with gunshot wounds were found. According to preliminary information, a man opened fire, shot another man, and then committed suicide,” TASS writes.
Currently, an investigative team is working at the scene in order to establish all the causes of the incident.
The ID of the Moscow Times journalist was found at one of the victims’ pocket.
