“Moscow riots” investigator summons CEO of TV-channel Rain for questioning
The channel’s CEO, who broadcasted the rallies live, is expected to testify.
The ICR’s Main Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases summoned the CEO of the Rain TV-channel, Natalya Sindeeva for questioning as a witness. Rain broadcasted the protest actions live. According to a document published by Sindeeva, the she was summoned by the head of the investigative group working on the “Moscow mass riots” case of July 27.
Sindeeva is to appear for questioning on the morning of September 10. The case in which she is supposed to testify is not indicated on the summons. The document was signed by Major General of Justice Rustam Gabdulin, the Senior Investigator for Particularly Important Cases. The summons came to one of the channel’s common email addresses.
