Vartan Sarkisov, who knocked a pedestrian dead on the crosswalk on Mosfilmovskaya Street on February 19, has pleaded guilty. By decision of the Tver Court of Moscow, he has been arrested for 2 months.

Let us recall that, as previously reported by the CrimeRussia, the street racer was driving his Porsche Cayenne Turbo at 145 km per hour and knocked down a 58-year-old man near building 34 on Mosfilmovskaya Street, who was crossing the roadway when the traffic light was showing green signal. Then the reckless driver rode about 300 m more with the victim on the hood of his car, after which he crashed into the cars parked at the curb. After the collision, Vartan Sarkisov and his friend, who was also in the car, ran away, leaving the pedestrian dying on the hood.

The police officers who arrived on the scene detained them. Vartan Sarkisov was hospitalized with a broken arm; he was drunk and behaved inappropriately at the time of arrest. He has pleaded guilty. By the court decision, the 26-year-old reckless driver has arrested and will remand in custody for two months.

It is noteworthy that he had repeatedly participated in street races and is a friend of the notorious street racer Mara Bagdasaryan.
