Moscow Region: local resident beats buyer slowing down line in store to death
None of the eyewitnesses even tried to stop the criminal.
In a 24/7 shop near Ivanteevka, the Moscow Region, a local resident beat a buyer, who had a conversation with the seller and thus slowed down the line, to death. The criminal battered the man until he got tired. None of the witnesses intervened, MK reports.
“He just went to the store for a second, he didn’t even take a cell phone with him. [Our] daughter is studying in Moscow to become an accountant. I am alone and don’t have enough money now to pay for her studies,” the wife of the deceased laments.
The crime was recorded by surveillance cameras, so law enforcement officers quickly found the murderer. It turned out to be a 42-year-old welder who came to the store to buy a gin and tonic can. On that day, the worker had the first day of vacation and wanted to start his holiday as soon as possible, and Pavel, 47, got on his way. This is how the offender explained his actions.
Against the welder, a robbery case was initiated, since the man also appropriated a 1000 ruble ($ 15) bill from the victim. Depending on the results of the medical examination, the investigation can re-qualify the case for a more grave crime.
