Moscow police caught Yandex.Taxi car with kidnapped man in its trunk
The night before, Moscow police officers detained a taxi car with a kidnapped man.
The car was put on the wanted list after eyewitness reported about a kidnapped man. Concerned citizens told law enforcement agencies that the incident occurred in the area of the Kursky railway station. Unknown people forcefully pushed a man into the trunk of a Ford Galaxy branded as Yandex.Taxi, and fled in an unknown direction.
After receiving a report on the abduction of a person in Moscow, the police announced amber alert.
According to the Moscow MIA General Administration, the car was impounded last night on the Sadovoe Ring Road. All of the passengers were taken to the police for subsequent clarification of all the circumstances of the incident.
The Russia’s Investigative Committee central office has taken the case of former Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Marat Oganesyan for investigation. However, the St. Petersburg’s Investigative Committee dept (regional dept where the case had been investigated previously) did not find state budget damage in the Zenit Arena fraud case.
