Moscow: Ex-Central Bank deputy chairman runs his wife down in parking lot
The wife was helping Aleksandr Turbanov to park his car.
Russian economist and former Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank, Head of the Deposit Insurance Agency Aleksandr Turbanov has run his wife down in the parking lot on Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow. This is reported by Moskovsky Komsomolets.
The incident took place in the evening of February 23, the newspaper says. According to preliminary information, the woman got out of the car to help her husband park it. Turbanov accidentally mixed the pedals and drove onto his wife.
Turbanova was hospitalized with a fracture of the ribs and shin. It is noted that Aleksandr Turbanov is considered a safe driver with driving experience of 25 years.
