Moscow: drunken policeman knocked out colleague's teeth with garbage can lid

The injured major was hospitalized with a closed head injury and a concussion.

In the north of Moscow, a drunken 34-year-old policeman from the Sokol District Department knocked out his colleague’s teeth with a garbage can lid. The victim is a 37-year-old MIA major, inspector of the division of public order in the SEAD. The reason of the fight allegedly was personal enmity. The incident occurred on the night after the celebration of Police Day, the news agency Moskva reports.

The source of the news agency said that the fight took place when the drunk MIA employee was returning with a friend from the cafe Knyazhiy Dvorik on the Kronstadt Boulevard. The victim was taken to the hospital with a closed head injury and a concussion. Both policemen were not in service and in civilian uniform. Moreover, both are natives of the capital of Kalmykia, Elista.

The law enforcement agencies conduct pre-investigation checks.
