Moscow: 5mln and Hugo Boss sunglasses stolen from Gelandewagen of unemployed girl
A criminal case under Robbery on an Especially Large Scale has been initiated.
Unknown persons have stolen 5 million rubles ($77,200) from a Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen on Michurinsky Avenue in Moscow. The car belongs to an unemployed Moscow resident.
As reported by TASS referring to the press service of the main police department, the robbery took place in the evening of May 18. An unemployed woman born in 1961 called the police. She reported a theft of 4 million 995 thousand rubles and Hugo Boss sunglasses. The total damage amounted to about 5 million 15 thousand rubles.
The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case under part 4 of Art. 158 of the Russian Criminal Code (Robbery on an Especially Large Scale).
Russia’s deposit insurance agency asked the court to involve an offshore company Clement Glory in a case against a fugitive banker and an ex-owner of Vneshprombank Georgy Bedzhamov. Clement Glory turned out to hold Bedzhamov’s real estate in Great Britain in pawn, reports RBC.
