Moscow: 15 diggers who decided to baptize in sewers near presidential residence detained
The police refused to confirm or deny the detention.
In the evening of January 19, fifteen people who tried to swim in the river collector near the residence of the President on Revolution Square were detained. This is reported by MK.
According to the publication, 10 men and 5 women aged from 20 to 29 were detained by the police after they entered the water drainage system. The detainees explained the choice of the place by the tradition of bathing in the Neglinnaya River’s collector. Recently, part of the collector system has been made a closed area; police was patrolling the area on the Day of Baptism.
It is not reported what happened to the detainees. Journalists tried to get information from the police department of Kitay-Gorod, but law enforcers refused to confirm or deny the fact of detention.
