Mopping up in FSB? Two more heads of administrations offered their resignations
Heads of the Administrations «P» and of the FSB of Russia offered their resignations. Earlier the same happened with the head of the Economic Security Service (ESS) of the FSB and the head of the Administration «K».
Staff changes in FSB continued. Two high-ranking officers followed the lead of the head of one of the main FSB administrations – Administration «K» Viktor Voronin, who offered his resignation to the management. This time, according to the Rosbalt’s source, heads of the Administrations «P» and «T» of the FSB of Russia decided to leave office.
The informed source in special services said that the two administrations mentioned above, as well as the «K» office, - are a framework of the Economic Security Service of the FSB of Russia. The «P» Administration is engaged in counterintelligence on the industrial enterprises, «T» - supervises transport, aircraft, the Russian Railways and so on. Voronin’s administration works on the bank sphere and steams of budgetary funds. Yury Yakovlev, who also was among potential retirees, is a head of ESS, in which these administrations are included.
Earlier the CrimeRussia’a source told that Voronin had a reason to leave office – investigation of «contraband case». The 9th Administration of FSB of Russia has recently carried out special operation on suppression of contraband streams to the country. According to the source, one of the main role in the revealed scheme played a head of the 7th Administration «K» ESS FSB of Russia Vadim Uvarov and his relative – investigator on major cases on fight against customs crimes of the General Department of Anti-Smuggling of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Pavel Smolyarchuk. Due to a coming scandal, Voronin hurried to resign.
