Mogilev: Gipsies in Volga with Russian plates abduct and cruelly murder inspector of State Automobile Inspectorate
The lieutenant set off for a site where a road accident had happened - and he went missing.
Inspector of Belarus’ State Automobile Inspectorate who had been abducted in the city of Mogilev - a 22-year-old lieutenant of militia - has been found dead, reports Belarus portal TUT.BY with reference to an official representative of the country’s MIA.
MIA emphasized that all staff of militia in Mogilev is alerted. The region introduced a plan Syren with blockposts on all country’s roads. According to the data by the portal’s sources, black Volga with tinted glass and Russian plates (98th region) is being searched for. Owner of the car has been identified: he is a citizen of Belarus who was born in Russia’s Smolensk - Vasily Nikonov. He has been put on a wanted list.
The portal’s source says the day before, the lieutenant set off for a site where a road accident had happened. At 6:27, he sent a message on Viber: “Urgent! Black Volga! 3 gipsies. Russian plates.” After that, the lieutenant went missing with his weapon.
Late in the evening on May 16, dead body of the militia officer was found near Highway Mogilev - Shklov. Investigative group is working on the case at the scene. Photo appeared on the web. It shows the officer with no pants on him. His dead body was thrown away in the thrash bin.
Belarus investigators initiated a criminal case into the incident under article 362 of Belarus Criminal Code (murder of an officer of MIA during while performing duties related to enforcement of public order).
The cadets have been found guilty of an Attempt at Murder by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert and for Mercenary Reasons (part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Russian Criminal Code). They do not plead guilty.
