Ministry of Natural Resources takes case of Perm official killing sleeping bear under its special control
Earlier, the suspected poacher published a photo of himself and a dead lynx.
The Perm Region Ministry of Natural Resources took the pre-investigation probe regarding the head of the Yukseyevsky rural settlement of the Kochevsky District, Vasily Utrobin, who killed a sleeping bear, under its direct control. Utrobin claims that the bear was insomniac and was shot during the hunting season, REN-TV reported.
“Until November 30, hunting is allowed, especially since we hunted with dogs; it is not clear, whether there is a den or a hole of some kind,” the Pyaty Kanal quotes the official as saying.
Judging by the photos, together with Utrobin, Nikolai Ilyushin, a former top manager of a large energy company, was hunting. In addition to the brown bear, the hunters shot four lynx a year earlier.
Earlier, the investigating bodies launched a probe regarding similar case in the Irkutsk Region, where Governor Sergey Levchenko shot a sleeping bear, and then took pictures with the corpse. The official said that he had killed an insomniac bear, but, according to the experts, the lair was covered with snow – the animal did not come out of it.
Artur Tsybikov, who refers to himself as Deputy Supreme Shaman of Russia, is trying to justify the Zhen Tengery Yaba ritual, which caused public outrage. He noted that the head of Chechnya does the same every year, burning five camels.
After the Colonel Zakharchenko scandal, Andrey Kurnosenko and some of his colleagues were told that they were not fit for the job. However, the head of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department retained his post.
