Media: Kadyrov's personal guard killed
One of the guards of the Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, suspected of preparing an armed attack on the security forces, was killed under mysterious circumstances.

Resident of the Kurchaloy district center Muzaev was arrested along with the villagers in the evening on January 15 on suspicion of preparing an anti-government campaign. After a while, the security forces reportedly returned his dead body to his family. This was reported on Monday, January 16 by Kavkaz.Realii (Radio Svoboda's project).
Law enforcement officials told relatives that during the arrest Muzaev pulled out a pistol from one of the police officers and shot himself. However, his family did not believe in the version of suicide.
Chechen authorities and law enforcement agencies have not officially commented on this information.
Earlier, on January 16, it was reported that more than 60 members of the bandit underground gang associated with the banned in Russia terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) week arrested in Chechnya since the beginning of last week. Four bandits were killed while putting up armed resistance to law enforcers.
According to Tass, the participants of the liquidated gang prepared a series of resonant crimes in the North Caucasus. Investigative measures are conducted with regard to detainees.

On January 11, the special operation to eliminate militants was held in the Kurchaloy district. Security forces blocked the gang on the outskirts of the village of Tsotsi-Yurt. On offer to surrender the criminals opened fire, then tried to escape. As a result, four militants were killed and one detained, another managed to escape. Two police officers were killed.
First, 19-year-old Artur Gadzhiev tried to set fire to the Severny shopping center, then he began to attack the visitors with an ax and a knife, and later, after running outside, he stabbed random people in the street. Four out of the seven wounded are severely injured.
The woman said she has remained silent because she was afraid she and her daughter might have been killed. However, she decided to give the information away after the investigator who investigated the murder mysteriously died.
The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office, which had previously approved an indictment in a high-profile bootlegging case against billionaire and Forum St Petersburg Group of Companies CEO Dmitry Mikhalchenko, is now demanding the Russian Supreme Court to change the initial jurisdiction.
