McGregor announces rematch with Nurmagomedov in Moscow

McGregor encouraged fans to book tickets.

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor commented on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s victory over Dustin Poirier.

“Book my rematch for Moscow,” he twitted.

After Poirier’s defeat, UFC Head Dana White said that the next rival of the Russian is likely to be American Tony Ferguson.

Nurmagomedov and McGregor met during the main fight of UFC 229, which took place in Las Vegas on October 6, 2018. The Dagestani won by using a submission hold in in the fourth round.

The fight between Nurmagomedov and Poirier took place in Abu Dhabi yesterday, on September 7. The Russian athlete won by using a chokehold, thus defending his UFC champion title. After the successful battle with the American, Nurmagomedov ranks sixth in UFC history in terms of the number of wins in a row. For the Russian athlete, this victory was the 28th in a row.
