Materials on Guliyev's attack on American citizen transferred to MIA investigators
The foreigner himself did not press charges and entered into a settlement agreement with the footballer.
The MIA’s Main Investigation Directorate received the materials regarding the assault committed by Spartak FC midfielder Ayaz Guliyev against American citizen Michael Cole, the Baza project reports. At that, Guliyev and Cole signed a settlement agreement, according to which the victim presses no charges against the football player.
Yesterday, Cole told that he and Guliyev had decided to transfer donations to the Dagestan charity foundation and some public organizations in Moscow. Earlier, Telegram channel Mash wrote that Guliyev paid Cole 155,000 rubles ($ 2,300) as compensation for the injuries.
It is to be recalled that the football player, driving a Mercedes, drove through a red light and almost hit Cole at a pedestrian crossing. The latter was outraged and knocked on the car. The athlete jumped out of the car and assaulted Cole.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
