Investigators are continuing to investigate the murder of the hockey player’s wife, as well as the circumstances of stabbing the second son of the woman, who also participated in the conflict prior to the tragedy. According to one version, the younger son of Sokolov pounced on his mother, killed her, and then tried to kill his brother, who witnessed the murder.
15-year-old son Arseny told the neighbors about his older brother who had attacked him and his mother. When the guy with the neighbors came running into the house, Irina was dead, and older brother Maksim, in blood but alive, was lying next to her. Arseny attacked his brother and stabbed him either in anger or in order to get rid of the witness. The investigation considers both sons as suspects, but the eldest is hospitalized in serious condition.
It is reported that the hockey player was not at home at the time of the murder. Investigators continue to establish the exact circumstances and motives of the crime.
