Man who shot woman in the market in Ingushetia gets detained
His motives are unknown yet.
Ingushetia law enforcers have detained a man suspected of murdering a local in the market in Zyazikov-Yurt. This is reported by the ICR's press service.
As previously reported by The CrimeRussia, the incident took place on January 6 – the man shot the 54-year-old woman in front of many witnesses. The deceased was a Russian Muslim. She converted to Islam by marrying. A few years ago, the woman’s husband died in a fire after the explosion of a gas cylinder in their house. The woman traded in spare parts for cars.
The 33-year-old suspect was detained around midnight on January 9. A criminal case has been initiated against him; investigators re ascertaining the circumstances of the crime.
Seventeen Russian Governors are facing criminal prosecution for bribe-taking. The rest of them may be jailed any time for exceedance of official powers. At least, Nezygar (@russica2) Telegram channel claims so citing an unidentified source in the law enforcement structures. However, according to that source, it is currently prohibited to prosecute top-level officials. In 2018, the operatives had only searched offices of Vice Governors or Deputy Ministers – not their bosses. The CrimeRussia found out what supreme functionaries are on the hook of the law enforcement authorities and may be immediately indicted if the President orders so.
