Man in Kurgan steals car and runs over family with 8-month-old
The person who caused the accident had stolen VAZ-2104 from his friend when he had been sleeping.
In Kurgan, a drunk driver run over pedestrians to death – a mother, her daughter, and their grandmother, who were going home after visiting their friends. This is reported by 112 via Telegram.
The victims are Irina Stepanova born in 1986, Karina Stepanova born in 2018, who was 8, and Svetlana Vorobyeva.
The driver has been identified; he is a local Aleksandr Korytov. He stole the car from his friend Sorokin after they had been drinking together. The car’s owner fell asleep, and Korytov decided to take a ride on VAZ-2104. According to eyewitnesses, the man was “drunk as a skunk.”
Korytov was taken to the hospital with minor injuries; he will have to undergo a medical examination.
