Mamayev and Kokorin keep fit in Butyrka using exercise bike and crossbars
Football players are working out with cellmates.
Footballers Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamayev accused of beating and hooliganism, are working out in the gym of the Moscow SIZO No. 2. Butyrka has a limited set of sports equipment, but Mamayev is pleased and intends to reclaim physical fitness.
“Today [Pavel] has already visited the gym. The staff takes him out with cellmates, and they are training in turns. Without Kokorin,” lawyer of Mamayev Igor Bushmanov told Storm.
According to the lawyer, Mamayev is glad to have the opportunity to train, he wants to keep fit: “There is an exercise bike. The rest are crossbeam, parallel bars, weights - a modest assortment.”
At the weekend, the players will not be able to attend the gym, as it will be closed.
Pavel Mamayev and the Kokorins brothers - Alexander and Kirill - have been in custody since October 11. They are accused of hooliganism and battery. On October 8, they arranged a brawl with TV presenter Olga Ushakova’s driver, Vitaly Solovchuk, and Denis Pak, the head of the car industry department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
