Mamayev and Kokorin refuse to serve his sentence in detention facility
A day in a detention center equals one and a half days in a colony.
Football player Pavel Mamayev, who was convicted for a year and five months in a general regime colony for fighting in the center of Moscow, refused to stay in the pre-trial detentions center, just as the other defendant in the case – Alexander Kokorin, lawyer Igor Bushmanov told Sport-Express. The conditions of detention in the detention facility are considered to be more difficult, which is why a day there equals one and a half days in the colony.
Moscow’s Presnensky Court found Alexander and Kirill Kokorins, Pavel Mamayev and Alexander Protasovitsky guilty of assaulting driver Vitaly Solovchuk and official Denis Pak. Kokorin has 7.5 months to serve, Protasovitsky and Mamayev – 6.5 months.
The detention is related to the investigation into the abduction and murder of Tatyana Sidorova, a deputy of the Ramenskoye District Legislature, and three members of her family, which occurred back in 2012.
