Yuri Maslennikov (Krab)

Sources point to Yuri Maslennikov.

On board of helicopter that recently made a hard landing and then burned in the territory of the Tuguro-Chumikansky district, there was well-known criminal shot caller named Krab, which is an underboss for the Khabarovsk Territory. 2x2.su reports citing a source close to the investigation. It is noted that he was injured in the spine and was hospitalized in the Amur Regional Clinical Hospital, located in Blagoveshchensk. Previously, the media referred to him as a businessman from Khabarovsk.

At the same time, as journalist and State Duma deputy Boris Reznik reported earlier, Krab is no longer the underboss and has long been living in Kolomna, Moscow region.

Nevertheless, it remains a mystery what ties he has with former deputy director of the FSB of Russia Anatoly Yezhkov, who was also on board. Another passenger was co-owner of the production complex Seryshevsky Sergey Melnichenko. According to the portal 2x2.su, it was he who drove the helicopter. A man is keen on such travels, including various airshow. As a result of the accident, he received a concussion of the brain and an eyebrow cut.

The men flew out for hunting last Sunday and looked for a place to land the heli when an emergency occurred. As a result, a private helicopter Gazelle caught fire, but people managed to evacuate.

At the same time, on the way to the hunting winter quarters, located one kilometer from the scene, the Colonel-General had a heart attack, as a result of which he died.

The day before it became known that Rosaviatsia, not the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), which is usually in charge of such cases, would investigate the accident. This is due to the fact that the vehicle was not registered.

As the TASS reported in the ICR Far Eastern Investigation Department on the transport, the investigation considers three main versions of the crash - weather conditions, technical malfunction or pilot error.

From 1967 to 2004 he served in the army, was head of the Russian FSB department for the North Caucasus Military District and head of the regional headquarters for the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus (since June 2001). Then he held the post of deputy director of the FSB of Russia (until July 2004) and was dismissed by presidential decree after the militants attacked Ingushetia. Then the silovik worked for Sibur.

Yuri Maslennikov is known as one of the leaders of the Far Eastern Obshchak gang, which operated on the territory of the region since the mid-1990s. In 2009, Maslennikov was arrested on suspicion of involvement in several grave crimes. He was charged with part 2 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (Attempted Murder committed by a group of persons in a generally dangerous manner), as well as part 3 of Art. 33, part 1 of Art. 105 (Complicity in the Murder). At the end of May 2011, the investigators had already completed the investigation of the Krab’s case and forwarded the indictment for approval, but on June 3, deputy prosecutor for the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Gulyagin returned the case for further investigation. The situation was repeated in 2012 as well. Krab is still not convicted.

By the way, former Governor (from 1991 to 2009) of the Khabarovsk Territory, later the presidential envoy to the region, and now adviser to the president of Rosneft Viktor Ishaev, whose grandson Igor Ishaev arranged a race at the Moscow Ring Road in March of last year resulting in an accident involving two more cars and a truck, has ties with Krab. Only by chance, no one died.
