Lera Kudryavtseva involved in scandal with Austrian vice-chancellor
“Was she an actress or a prostitute?” - headline by Oesterreich Zeitung.
Russian presenter Lera Kudryavtseva expressed outrage in her Instagram due to the Austrian newspaper Oesterreich Zeitung using a picture of her. The publication used a picture of the representative of the Russian show business in a material about Vice-Chancellor of Austria Heinze-Christian Strach with the subheading “Was she an actress or a prostitute?”
“It turns out I am to blame for the resignation of the Chancellor of Austria... OK then, we’ll see what the international court think about it,” Kudryavtseva wrote.
The presenter was struck by such unprofessional act of the Austrian media.
To recall, on July 24, 2017, Vice-Chancellor of Austria, Heinz-Christian Strache, met with a certain Alena Makarova, a “relative of the Russian oligarch”, in Ibiza. According to media, the politician conducted negotiations with the Russian woman on receiving assistance in the 2017 elections in exchange for assistance in buying a large media and lobbying other interests.
General’s son Mikhail Sal’nikov, Professor of the Department of Theory of Government and Law at the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Russian Federation, has been detained for real estate fraud. Amid other corruption crimes hitting the headlines, this offense does not seem a high-profile one. But the point is that this is not the first criminal case instituted against professor Sal’nikov, and he is not the only relative of MIA general Viktor Sal’nikov having problems with the law.
