Leader of Shaltay-Boltay makes deal with investigation
Now, the case of Vladimir Anikeev will be considered in a special order.
Leader of the hacker group Shaltay-Boltay (Humpty Dumpty) Vladimir Anikeev concluded a deal with the investigation, RIA Novosti reports with reference to lawyer of the accused Ruslan Kobelev.
According to the lawyer, now the Anikeev's case will be considered in a special order - without examining the evidence and questioning the witnesses. Earlier it was reported that the leader of Shaltay-Boltay gave confessions to himself and his accomplices, Alexander Filinov and Konstantin Teplyakov, immediately after the detention. Participants of the group are accused of Illegal Access to Computer Information, which was committed by prior agreement by the group (part 3 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code).
According to the investigative authorities, the group Shaltay-Boltay under the leadership of Vladimir Anikeev was engaged in hacking cell phones and e-mail of officials and business representatives, and then sold the received classified information.
To date, Yevgeny Kislyakov, the head of the Sberbank management department in the sphere of housing and communal services, is recognized as the victim of the hacker group.
Earlier it was also reported that FSB Colonel Sergey Mikhailov was acting as curator of the hacker community. He served as the Deputy Hhead of the Information Security Center of the FSB.
