Krug’s murderer gets alibi from ‘mother’ who was threatened by members of Volki gang
The woman says he lived at her summerhouse at the time and went nowhere on the day when Krug was murdered.
New details of investigation into murder of Mikhail Krug have become known. According to TverGrad, killers of Volki gang Aleksander Ageev and Aleksander Osipov have been taken to the interrogation.
Ageev took part in the investigative experiment carried out at the place where Mikhail Krug had been murdered - in the chansonnier’s house. But on August 20, during Channel One’s talk show Let Them Talk, one of the TV-show’s participant and a citizen of Tver Galina Zhevnova stated that she is ready to confirm Ageev’s alibi. The woman says he lived at her summerhouse at the time and went nowhere on the day when Krug was murdered.
“There are other eyewitnesses besided myself - including Sergey, a bodyguard of Kostenko (a criminal ‘authority’ Aleksander Kostenko aka Loma, a leader of Volki gang), Olga, Aleksander’s girlfriend, and my child,” Zhevnova said during the talk show.
It is not excluded that Ageev had taken responsibility for the killing of the chansonnier. The author of the article published by TverGrad reports that during the investigation, Ageev had managed to stay at a remand prison with soft conditions - as compared with a colony.
The woman is quite familiar with members of Volki gang: she’s acquainted with leaders of Kostenko’s criminal group and a father of the killer Aleksander Osipov (aka Cherep), as well as Dmitry Veselov who had confessed of murder of Krug.
And more importantly, the woman had already insisted on alibi for the ‘shooter’ Ageev in another case that has nothing in common with the Krug’s one. It is about shooting of four persons in a settlement of Maksatikha in November, 2002. Ageev had called Galina his ‘mother’.
The investigation into the murder of Mikhail Krug has been carried out by the criminal investigations directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Tver region.
