Krasnoyarsk customs officer detained with drugs in his car
The Krasnoyarsk traffic police has stopped a customs officer for inspection and found drugs in his car.
To date, a criminal case under part 2 of Art. 228 of the Russian Criminal Code (Illegal Acquisition and Storage of Narcotic Drugs on a Large Scale) has been initiated against the 36-year-old Krasnoyarsk customs officer. The investigation is conducted by experts of the ICR Main Investigations Directorate for the Krasnoyarsk region.
According to investigative bodies, January 31, traffic police officers stopped the private car of the customs inspector to verify his documents. When examining the car, they found methamphetamine. The customs officer immediately told the police that he had bought the drugs for personal use.
The experts are currently establishing all the circumstances of what happened. The criminal investigation continues.
Officer of the FSB in Moscow and the region Pyotr Koryugin participated in the extortion of 2 million rubles ($34.800) from an Azerbaijani citizen, and he warned a drug dealer about a forthcoming search for 300.000 rubles ($5200).
