Krasnodar: young National Guard officer, shot by passerby, dies
The shooter had great shooting skills and, according to the investigators, carefully prepared for the crime.
A 21-year-old National Guard officer, Anton Daursky, who received two bullets from a passer-by, died in a hospital in Krasnodar. According to the investigators, a 36-year-old shooter named Igor planned the attack in advance and carefully prepared for it, Komsomolskaya Pravda-Kuban reports.
“The shooter was deliberately walking towards the patrol car, this is visible on the surveillance cameras. The first bullet went through the eye orbit, the second one hit the back of the head, where the cerebellum is located,” said Daursky’s bride Kristina.
The attack was committed on the evening of November 29, 2018, when Daursky and his 39-year-old co-worker ensign were waiting for colleagues to turn over a shift to them. An unknown person opened fire from a revolver; the ensign was shot through his hand, after which the attacker was killed from return fire.
