In the Krasnodar region, two parole officers are being suspected of officialmisconduct: they swapped the case of sex with a minor with illicit arms trafficking
According to the regional Investigative Committee, two local police officers of Novopokrovskiy area are suspected of malfeasance in office. Currently there are three criminal cases initiated against them – the investigators of Novopokrovskiy interdistrict investigative department have combined them into one proceeding.
The police officers are accused of crimes according to the following articles of the Russian Criminal Code: Abuse of official Powers (Part 1 of Art. 285), Exceeding Official Powers (Part 1 of Art. 286) and Organization of illegal manufacture and trafficking arms (Part 3 of Art. 33, part 1 of Art. 222, Part 4 of Art. 222, Part 1 of Art. 223).
During the investigation specialists have found that in the winter of this year, the local police officers were informed about the committed sexual intercourse with a teenage girl in the Novoivanovskaya village.
The policemen met with the young man, who did it, and told him that they could ignore his crime and do not open any judicial proceedings if he gives his consent to criminal prosecution for the illegal manufacture and possession of weapons.
After the positive response of the man, the policemen handed him over a smooth-bore hunting gun and a hacksaw for cutting metal, they instructed him to make "sawed-off shotgun." Then, they have given him the ammunition and asked to make a few shots from a gun.
Afterward they arrested him, confiscated the shotgun, documented everything following the formal procedure. According to the arranged scenario, the criminal case against the young man was initiated.
This fact was revealed later by the FSB officers in Krasnodar Region.
To date, two police officers were dismissed from law enforcement agencies. Currently, the investigation against them is being proceeded, trying to establish all the circumstances of committed by ex-policemen crimes.

Aleksey Tugi is one of the suspects investigated by the police for woodcutting at a nature reserve. The police also arrested people working for the Irkutsk Forest Protection Center and the Kazachinsko-Lensky Forestry. They allowed to cut down 116 hectares of the forest.
