Earlier, the culprit of the accident applied for resignation.

The Higher Qualification Collegium of Judges of the Russian Federation dismissed judge of the Krasnodar Garrison Military Court Arsen Krikorov, who was suspected of drunk driving and violating traffic rules, causing harm of the average severity to 18-year-old Viktoria Zvereva, TASS reports.

Krikorov applied for resignation. The Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory referred the accident materials to the Prosecutor General's Office. The head of the ICR, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to carefully check the information about the traffic accident. The mother of the victim believes that the investigators are trying to hush up the case. The family demanded $45.700 from Krikorov for damages and medical expenses.

Marina and Viktoria Zvereva

The accident occurred in December 2018. Krikorov's car hit member of the Krasnodar Territory taekwondo team Zvereva, after which he tried to leave. The drivers-eyewitnesses of the incident caught up with the offender and blocked his car before the police arrived.
