“That's it, I guess.” Komi State Deputy Alexey Chuprov commits suicide

Deputy of the Komi State Council, chairman of the Izhma Komi Council, Alexey Chuprov, committed suicide in Syktyvkar.
According to local media, the deputy’s body was found by his family in the apartment where he had lived. According to preliminary information, Chuprov’s death was not violent. Cuts were found on his body; death is believed to have been caused by abundant blood loss.
An investigation is in progress, all the circumstances of the incident are being looked into.
Before killing himself, Chuprov posted on VKontakte, “That's it, I guess.” The deputy was 37 years old.
United Russia’s Alexey Chuprov became a member of the regional parliament in the autumn of 2018. The deputy also headed the council of the Izvatas movement, which united the Izhma Komi ethnic group.
