Kokorin and Mamayev placed in Butyrka
Football players have no complaints about the conditions of detention.
Footballers Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamayev were placed in quarantine cells of the Moscow SIZO Butyrka. RIA Novosti quotes secretary of the Moscow PMC Ivan Melnikov.
He clarified that the athletes have not complained about anything. After ten days, they have to be transferred to the wards of the special unit with more comfortable conditions. According to Melnikov, video surveillance is also installed there.
Recall that the court decided to arrest the footballers the day before. The investigators requested such a measure of restraint.
Footballers are suspected of beating several people on October 8. Initially, two cases were initiated over beating, but then the police separated a case and toughened the article - on hooliganism - against Kokorin and Mamayev. They face up to seven years in prison.
As a result of the two attacks, three people were injured: the driver of one of the Channel One host, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade department, Denis Pak, and head of NAMI (the developer of presidential cars Aurus) Sergey Gaisin. The victims filed with the police.
Also, athletes face sports ban.
