Kokorin and Mamaev assault driver of Channel One host before attacking Pak for being “Chinese”
The scuffle broke out at the intersection of 2nd Brestskaya and Bolshaya Sadovaya yesterday at around 8 am. The driver identified the football players in photos.
Footballers Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev had assaulted the driver of Channel One host Olga Ushakova two hours before they attacked the Trade Ministry official, Denis Pak, Moskovsky Komsomolets reported.
The fight occurred yesterday at about 8 am near the Pekin hotel at the intersection of 2nd Brestskaya and Bolshaya Sadovaya. A Mercedes GLS was waiting for the TV presenter in the parking lot. The driver reprimanded the five men for disorderly conduct on the roadway. The men reacted by dragging him out of the car and beating him.
The driver got a nose fracture and head injury. He was hospitalized at the Botkin hospital. According to the MK, his name is Vitaly Solovchuk, while the Mash Telegram Channel referred to him as Viktor Solovyov. He reportedly identified the attackers as Kokorin and Mamaev when he was shown their pictures.
A battery case has been initiated (Art. 116 of the Criminal Code).
Earlier it was reported that on the morning of October 8, Kokorin and Mamaev attacked Industry and Trade official, Denis Pak, in the Moscow Coffeemania. The footballers and their friends had been noisy and the man reproached them. They responded by insulting Pak making racist comments and then beat him with chairs. A battery case was initiated. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is yet to state the names of the offenders officially.
