KHL hockey players put up fight without gloves
The scuffle took place during a match between Yaroslavl’s Lokomotiv Hockey Club and Chelyabinsk’s Traktor.
Jakub Nakládal, a defenseman who is currently playing for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, has put up a fight during a regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) against a representative of Traktor Chelyabinsk, reports Lenta.ru.
At the 23rd minute of the match, Traktor’s centre forward Yegor Fateev put Ilya Konovalov, a goaltender of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, on the ice. Nakládal decided to cover up for his clubmate and put up a scuffle with Fateev. The hockey players were fighting without gloves. As a result, Nakládal managed to get his opponent to the ground.
The hockey players got 5 minutes as a fine. Nakládal earned additional 2 minutes as an instigator of the fight. Traktor won a 3-2 victory over Lokomotiv.
