Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Disctrict: flayers shoot three dogs
One animal survived and was delivered to Surgut for treatment.
At night, in the city of Megion, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, unidentified persons shot three dogs at close range, one of which, in critical condition, was taken to Surgut for treatment. The incident happened far from residential areas, in an abandoned house, where some teenagers fed the animals, Ugra-News reports.
“We claim with 100% certainty that there is no mini-shelter in your city. Teenage boys took care for the dogs, kept them in abandoned places,” Olesya Mukhina, a member of the Podari Zhizn group, who took custody of a wounded Staffordshire terrier, said.
“The dog was systematically beaten for a long time, it is just one bruise. There were three bullets fired from small-caliber weapons. But I’m almost certain that he will survive,” URA.ru quotes animal rights activist Alexander Muratkin.
Shooting of dogs in the city has already happened before, the Tipichny Megion public page writes. The police launched a relevant check.
By approving the pension reform, Russian lawmakers have admitted the frailty of life. For instance, 62-year-old Viktor Ozerov, Senator from the Khabarovsk Krai, has suddenly got tired and decided to retire. ‘Authoritative’ businessman Aleksander Shishkin is eager to succeed him. A former Senator and member of the Committee for Defense and Security, Shishkin is concerned about his personal safety and immunity.
