Ali Abdel-Aziz, a manager of the current UFC Lightweight Champion - Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov - has estimated chances of a rematch with an Irish boxer Conor McGregor. He believes the rematch makes no sense.

“Conor is like an injured ex-girlfriend who doesn’t want to meet anyone else. Now, no one needs McGregor any more. We don’t want to talk about him. For what? Khabib already defeated him,” the manager of the Russian fighter told an American news portal TMZ.

In October, 2018, Nurmagomedov won over the Irish professional mixed martial artist and boxer Conor McGregor and became the UFC Lightweight Champion. After the match, a scuffle involving the fighters occurred which caused a disciplinary investigation against its participants, reminds the Federal News Agency. On September, 2019, Khabib retained the championship in a match against an American Dustin Poirier. After that, McGregor said he wants a rematch in Moscow.
