Khabarovsk: Breivik fan was preparing a school shooting
The police have found a shotgun rifle and cartridges in the student's house.
In Khabarovsk, a 18-year-old student of RANEPA (Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration) has been detained on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act. Preliminary information indicates that he was preparing a shooting at school number 30 located in the city center. The suspect is a graduate of this educational institution. In addition, his mother works as a teacher of Russian language and literature in this school.
During interrogation and searches, it turned out that the student is interested in the subject of mass executions and is a fan of the Norwegian nationalist Anders Breivik, who staged a terrorist attack in Oslo, where 77 people died. A rifle, a shotgun, as well as leaflets with nationalistic content have been discovered in the student’s place.
It concerns entrepreneur Dmitry Motorin, Boris Usherovich, a co-owner of the Group of Companies 1520, and Novoe Vremya board member, Ivan Stankevich. Motorin is accused of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, and Stankevich and Usherovich are charged with bribe-taking.
