According to the agency, Paris was informed about the diplomatic immunity of Kerimov. The Russian embassy in France is now doing everything possible to immediately release the Senator. In addition, a lawyer works with the Senator.
It is also known that in the near future the court will choose the measure of restraint for Kerimov.
As previously reported, the member of the Federation Council was detained at the airport in Nice and taken to the police station upon the case of tax evasion. According to some reports, he was in France on personal business, and not on a business trip.
