Kerch shooter’s explosive had infectious filling
Perhaps that is why some of the victims who had initially refused medical assistance returned to the hospital again.
Head of the Ministry of Health Veronika Skvortsova said that most of the victims suffered mine-explosive wounds; at the same time, the fragments, comprising of metallic elements of various shapes, such as nails and bolts, turned out to be infected.
According to Skvortsova, due to the fact that the explosive filling contained an infection, an acute inflammation immediately began in the places where the fragments had hit. Skvortsova did not specify what kind of infection it was.
Perhaps that is why some of the victims who had initially refused medical assistance returned to the hospital again. For example, a 16-year-old teenager was hospitalized in one of the Crimean hospitals after a second visit to the doctors. Thus, the total number of victims who required hospitalization increased to 46 people. To recall, as a result of the attack, 20 people died, excluding the shooter. After the mass shooting, he committed suicide in the library. 50 more people have been injured; 46 of them have been hospitalized in Moscow and the Krasnodar region.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
