Karachay-Cherkessia: District Judge killed by five shots point blank
Ruslan Botashev was shot dead in his car parked outside one of the shops at the drive way to the Pervomaiskoe village.
The Malokarachayevsky District Court Judge Ruslan Botashev shot dead in his car, Interfax reported referring to the representative of the ICR regional Administration Sergey Shuvaev. The murder was committed today around 11:30 am in the Pervomayskoye village.
Unknown was waiting for the judge near his Toyota car. Botashev left the shop Nadezhda, located at the drive way to the village, and sat behind the wheel of the car. When the judge was in a saloon, the killer went from the passenger side and shot to Botashev four times at point-blank from rifles. Then, the offender walked away from the car and was about to flee, but he came back and made another shot at the judge. After that, the killer fled the scene.
From the wounds Botashev died on the spot. According to the Malokarachaevsky District Court in Karachay-Cherkessia site, Ruslan Botashev was the Acting chairman of the court.
MD ICR investigators carried out a crime scene examination and other investigative operations to establish the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the attacker.
Law enforcers are searching for the perpetrator.
