Kadyrov stands up for Fedor Emelianenko
The Head of the Chechen Republic wants people to stay calm, when discussing matters of public concern.
Ramzan Kadyrov stood up for Fedor Emelyanenko, the MMA Union of the Russian Federation president; the President heavily criticized the Akhmat-2016 children’s exhibition performance. The Head of the Chechen Republic addressed his Instagram followers urging them not to insult the athlete on the social network.
"It is inappropriate to make a mountain out of a molehill and insult people. I am sure Fedor Vladimirovich regrets his words, since he removed the picture of the boy from his page. We should tolerate each other more and refrain from mutual insults when discussing matters of public concern," Ramzan Kadyrov posted.
The Head of the Chechen Republic believes Fedor Emelyanenko regrets jumping to conclusions about the Akhmat-2016 tournament. That makes him a real man, Kadyrov said.
"I believe he will act as a true Russian bogatyr (Russian for a legendary warrior, translator's note) his fans believe him to be. A national bogatyr is not allowed to do things common people are, paraphrasing an ancient saying. We can not play around with experience, influence and abilities such people have," Kadyrov pointed out.
Billionaire Viktor Vekselberg has repaid loans in the amount of $1 billion taken from the Western banks. Earlier, his Renova Group had received state support from Promsvyazbank. Renova representatives say they have repaid the loan with the company’s own funds.
Federation Council member Vadim Nikolaev whose son had gotten into a fight strongly suggested that the other kids and their parents dropped beating charges, making it clear that he had already been to prosecutors and the ICR and “gotten it all dealt with.”
The businessman agreed to exchange the assets of Liwet Holding, through which Vekselberg’s company owned the shares of high-tech European concerns, for the assets of his partners Evgeny Olkhovik and Vladimir Kremer.
